Saldio

Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

At Saldio, privacy isn't an extra · it's the product. This policy explains which data is processed (very little) and how.

The short version: the Saldio application is local-first. Your financial data is stored encrypted on your own machine, not in the cloud. There are no accounts, there is no tracking, and we don't send your financial information anywhere.

1.Data controller

The data controller is the Saldio team. You can reach us about any privacy matter at soporte@saldio.co. Full identifying details of the controller are provided during the purchase process for the paid plans.

2.Data processed by the application

The data you enter into Saldio (income, expenses, categories, goals and so on) is stored only on your device, in an encrypted database. The Owner has no access to it, it is not synchronised with any server, and it is not shared with third parties. Any backups you create are stored wherever you decide.

3.Data processed by the website

The saldio.co website is hosted on Cloudflare, which as the infrastructure provider processes basic technical data (such as your IP address) in order to serve the page and protect it against attacks.

4.When you write to us

If you contact soporte@saldio.co, your email is forwarded to our account through Cloudflare Email Routing. We process your address and the content of your message solely to answer your query. We don't use it for marketing and we don't pass it to third parties.

5.Payments

When you buy a Plus or Pro plan, the payment is processed by [PAYMENT PROCESSOR], which acts as controller for the payment data and applies its own privacy policy. The Owner does not store card details; it receives only the purchase confirmation and the data needed to issue your licence and invoice.

6.Legal basis and retention

We process the data above on the basis of performing the service you request, and of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and answering your queries. We keep emails and purchase records for as long as needed to assist you and to meet legal obligations, such as tax requirements.

7.Your rights (GDPR)

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to soporte@saldio.co. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you consider that we have not handled your request properly.

Note: because your financial data lives only on your machine, deleting it is as simple as removing it or uninstalling the application. The Owner holds no copy of it.

8.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version in force will always be the one published here, together with its update date.
